Bareboat Charter, as the name implies, means chartering or hiring of bare boat, that is, without any crew, provisions or facilities, which is arranged by the people who rent out the boats. Bareboat charter differs from other boat charters such as time charter or voyage charter where the charterers rent out the entire boat or ship or even part of the ship for pre-set time or for pre-set voyage route.
